First up, the fabric itself is made from a lightweight cotton, but because it's extremely big it ends up weighing more than your average square scarf. The tassel details go along two sides of the scarf that are next to eachother so you can get the tassel details to show on both sides or only on one side of your head when you wrap it. You can easily achieve a voluminous look with this square because of how big it is.
