It has an elastic/button closure in the back, please check the photos for more details. This elastic closure works great for a variety of head sizes.

You can remove/add stuffing from the inside to make the back look smaller/larger, if you'd like. The volume in the back has a set placement, which means that the volume won't move higher and lower.
