I generally wear a L/XL, but I kept a Medium in this cardigan. I definitely recommend sizing down in this style, but if you prefer for it to be oversized then you could keep your usual size. 

It's difficult to measure this style, because it's stretchy, but I'd say where you really would want to measure is the widest portion of your arm.
